Passenger Drones

General information

Perhaps its ability is limited to transporting light-weight items such as letters, confidential items, and sundries,etc. So let’s start introducing it.

Technical and historical information

Now let’s discuss the development and history of drone technology. Drones first appeared in the 1920s, It was a proposal made to the British Military Aviation Society by two British generals. The drone was used as a training target. A term used by many countries to describe the latest generation of drones. Literally, the term can describe everything from kites, radio-controlled aircraft, to cruise missiles, but in military jargon is limited to reusable aircraft that are heavier than air. From the 1940s to the 1990s, Western countries fully recognize the role of drones in war, and are racing to apply high-tech to the research and development of drones. Lightweight materials greatly increase the drone’s endurance time; the use of advanced signal processing and communication technology improves the image transmission speed and digital transmission speed of the drone. Early drones had short airtimes, low flight altitudes, and small areas for reconnaissance and surveillance, were unable to continuously acquire information, and even caused intelligence “blind zones” that were unsuitable for the needs of modern warfare. To this end, the U.S. Army has developed a long-duration drone. So, What technology was developed that has led to this new technology? 1.Achieve high-resolution image acquisition; 2. UAV system consists of aircraft platform system, information acquisition system and ground control system; 3. New generation of drones can launch and recycle from multiple platforms.

In terms of military use, drones have a wide range of uses, low cost, and high efficiency; they play an extremely important role in modern warfare and have broader prospects in the civilian field. Its technical significance lies in its ability to develop from the earliest war years to civilian services. Today, cities and villages are changing with the advent of drones. If you live in a rural area, you will be amazed by the outstanding performance of drones in improving transportation capacity in remote areas and improving agricultural production efficiency; if you are a member of the city, you will also be surprised to see the extraordinary role of drones in solving transportation logistics and urban planning and construction management. In this era of technology engulfing the world, drones are permeating into people’s daily lives like air is permeating, in big cities crowded by crowds, and in rural areas on the other side. Imagine that if you are in a remote area and you have a serious illness and urgently need drugs, the cost of drone use will be much smaller than the cost of air transport. Very fast and convenient, So the emergence and development of passenger drones will be disruptive and emerging technologies.
